Tutoring at the Go Project

The GO Project provides year-round educational and family support services to children who are performing below grade level and equips them with the confidence and skills needed to succeed at school, at home, and in life.

Go School Program Tutors are placed in 1st - 8th grade classrooms of no more than 16 students. Classes are led by a Head Teacher and supported by 2 - 3 other volunteers. The Head Teacher models a lesson/explains an activity, and then the volunteers work in small groups or one-to-one with the students to help them complete the assignments.

GO School is the core school-year academic program for all GO students and takes place on the Saturdays listed below from 9:00 AM - 12:45 PM.

Please note there will be additional paperwork to participate in this volunteer opportunity.  All volunteers for the Go Project must pass a background check.
